Unless you’re the National Archives you probably won’t have to digitise 1,000 miles of paper files. But every organisation needs to digitise documents; it might seem daunting but there are specialists that make it easy.

Scanning the paper is the first step. Sounds simple right? But documents can vary in shape, size and quality.

We can collect and prepare your documents for scanning. Using state-of-the-art data capture equipment, complete with sensitive document scanning and imaging processes, we can convert them to digital files. 

Once digitised, it needs to be indexed according to agreed criteria so that you can find it. Metadata is extracted from the image using the latest software and Optical Character Recognition. Tags and indexing can also be hand-keyed by our experts although this is only occasionally needed.

It’s also important that your documents can be retrieved in a variety of formats or via different document sharing or management systems, and that they are easily searchable to locate information and files easily.
